HTML5 Shmup – W.I.P.
A few weeks’ back, I programmed a little Shmup video game in Javascript using the new HTML5 canvas tag. It should work happily in Firefox/Chrome (tested).

I plan to polish it up and turn it into a full-featured little web game sometime in the near future, complete with nifty graphics supplied by a more artistically inclined friend. But in the meantime I wanted to put it up in its current state. It was hacked together in haste and I learnt about the features of Javascript as I went along..
Controls are the cursor keys, with x to shoot and hold down z for warp speed… There’s two kinds of pickups, one gives you more photon torpedoes and the other increases your speed.
